Watercolor Essentials: Abstract Landscape
Although most watercolorists paint realistically, to master the medium would include the challenge of an exercise that keeps the subject vague and more impressionistic. Abstract landscape affords the student the opportunity to push the limits of their understanding and break through to new creativity. All levels of experience are welcome.
Project: Interpretive landscape
NOTE: The Watercolor Essential classes are offered weekly from September 10 to October 29. Each week’s lesson will cover a separate foundational technique to help students become more proficient in watercolor. Each class will be a separate unit and not necessarily a building block. Students may register for any combination of the Watercolor Essential classes that they choose.
