SUPPLY LISTS FOR ALL CLASSES
BEGINNING PASTELS
· Any basic hard, medium, or soft pastel set. These can be purchased at Michael’s or any art supply store. Faber-Castell is a good basic brand or even Art Loft. In addition, students may bring any pastels they have on hand.
· Baby Wipes
· A drawing board to secure paper
· 2 #2 pencils and an eraser
· An 8 x 10 spiral bound sketch book
COIL CUPS
· A sketchbook & pencil
· A small bucket/ deep bowl for hand rinsing
· Any pottery tools you may already have
· Various size paint brushes- a soft brush works best
· Sherrill mud tools yellow rib shape 2
· Small knife tool (exacto knife, butter knife, fettling knife, anything of these will work)

EXPLORING ACRYLICS
Required Supplies:
2-ounce tubes of heavy body acrylic paints (from the same brand if possible) in the following colors:
Ultramarine Blue
Cadmium Red

A 5-ounce tube of Titanium White or a jar of White Gesso
3 pre-gessoed canvases, 8” x 10’” or larger
Synthetic paintbrushes in the following sizes:

· 5 small tubes (60 ml each) of acrylic paint (Phthalo blue, Magenta, Indian Yellow, Black, Titanium White)
· 16 oz bottle of glazing medium
· Implements to make marks (pencil, water-soluble crayon, paint sticks, etc)
· Brushes: 1/2” & 1” cheap synthetic flat, 1” and 2” synthetic sable flat, #4 or #6 round, 10” round
· Artist disposable paper palette

· 12” or 18” ruler
· Scott’s Delicate Surface purple tape (1” wide roll)
