Still Life Painting with Soft Pastels
Explore the joy of pastels with T Kurtz as she guides students from painting a simple still life to more complex still life paintings. This 4-day course will take students through small still life studies of subjects like fruit and vegetables, to a final more complex composition on the final 2 days in class. The instructor will instruct students working on several different surfaces. She will also explain value contrast and the use of fun colors to make realistic representations that are impressionistic and loose.
