Basic Impressions in Soft Pastel
Have you ever wished you could loosen up your compositions? Tried being impressionistic but need a buddy to help you gain confidence? It always helps to have someone to give you a guide. Let T help you along with some basic color theory, color-blocking techniques, and a gentle nudge towards a looser style of art.
About T Kurtz
T has been a teacher of Basic Impressionism in Pastel at the Spokane Art School from 2018 to the present. She also served as an Artist in Residence at The Spokane Art School 2018. She has over 10 years of practical experience being a professional artist and she received a BA of Fine Art from Washington State University in 1992.

One package of Baby Wipes (Huggies recommended)
One of the following sets are required:
Unison 16 half landscape
Schminke 15 landscape
Sennilier half set 30 landscape
Richeson HR 20 landscape
In addition to the supplies listed above, a $15.00 supply fee will be due to the instructor on the first night of class. (Please bring cash.) This fee will cover the additional supplies that the teacher will provide for each student. (a drawing surface, photo, and access to instructor’s pastels to supplement students’ pallets.)
