Personal Totems

Using air dry clay, students will create a 12" personal sculpture on an armature. They will learn basic clay hand building techniques, design, and color theory to enable them to produce a successful personal totem.

About carol kovalchuk

Carol has over thirty years of experience as a certified master art teacher, working with the very young to the young at heart.  She taught K-12 art in Clarion, Pennsylvania, and she worked in the Continuing Education Program at Clarion University, In Sandpoint, she taught a variety of art classes at the Art Alliance and she is currently teaching workshops at the Sandpoint Senior Center.

Students should bring an old shirt or an apron to cover clothing.

Supply fee

All materials will be provided by the instructor for a $15.00 supply fee.  Please bring cash to the first class session.
