Mosaic Wreath: Direct Application Method

In this 3-hour class, students will create an original mosaic design on a circular wreath substrate using the direct application method. Tesserae for the design will include a variety of stained glass, pottery, tile, stone, beads, and gems. Students may bring their own special items for the tesserae to add to the design. Nipping and shaping techniques will be presented along with the process for applying tessera. This will be the perfect opportunity to create a unique seasonal wreath to display at home or share as a gift for someone special.

The mosaic project will be grouted and available for pick-up at the POAC Gallery  the following week.
