Holiday Gourd Vase

Create a charming handcrafted small gourd vase, a perfect additional to your holiday decor or a great hostess gift. In this class you will learn how to cut, clean and dye your gourd. We will explore rich seasonal colors, natural and fun accents, and finish with acoiled rim.

This is a fun class to make it a party with friends.

About Eileen Marcotte

Eileen started weaving baskets in 1988, and was introduced to gourds in 1989. She was fascinated with the uniqueness of each gourd and joined gourd guilds to learn more and more. She started learning from a master woodcarver and that took her gourd art to a new level. Her art form incorporates gourds, weaving fibers, and basketry techniques. Eileen loves to learn and share her knowledge by teaching others.
