Artist Studio Tour Application
August 30 - September 1, 2024

Please read all RULES & regulations before submitting your application

APPLICATION CRITERIA:

  1. Jury Process:

    • Acceptance is determined by a jury. The jury’s decision is final.

    • $25 jury fee required.

  2. Artwork Guidelines:

    • Original artwork only.

    • No imports, yard sales, or AI-generated art.

  3. Artist Presence:

    • Artists must be present at their studio throughout the entire tour.

    • Early closures result in non-invitation for future events.

    • New this year - POAC will provide docents for those who need them. If you have already have someone to assist you, please indicate that on your application.

  4. Studio Specifications:

    • Private studios only.

    • Spaces may be shared by up to 2 artists (each artist must apply separately).

    • Please be sure that your studio is safe. Artists are responsible for carrying liability insurance. POAC is not responsible for any loss, damage, or injuries that occur during the Artist Studio Tour.

  5. Acceptance Policy:

    • Only accepted artists may participate.

    • Studios exhibiting unaccepted artists will not be invited back.

    • Returning artists are not guaranteed acceptance.

  6. Notification and Contact:

    • Artists notified via email by May 17.

    • Provide a valid email address on the application.

  7. Photo Submission:

    • Submit 4 photos:

      1. Property entrance: street view.

      2. Studio entrance: stairs, front door, etc.

      3. Inside the studio: spaces for visitors.

      4. Artwork: an example of the artwork to be shown.

  8. Application Process:

    • Online applications preferred.

    • Paper application download available if needed.

UPON ACCEPTANCE:

  1. Participation Fee:

    • $200 per artist.

    • Due upon acceptance.

  2. Sales Responsibility:

    • Artists manage sales and handle sales tax accordingly.

  3. Documentation and Fee Deadline:

    • Brochure information and participation fee due by June 7.

  4. Cancellation Policy:

    • Full refund for cancellations by June 7.

    • No refunds for any reason after June 7.
